Today, there is more emphasis in the area of Communications. First Nations,
Governments, and the private sector have realized the need to create transparency
through timely fact-based information.
First Nations governments are beginning to take a more proactive
approach to communicating with membership and the general public. As many
First Nations communities are negotiating Treaties,
Specific Claims settlements, Land Codes, and Self-government agreements,
effective communications is paramount. These communities are faced with
major decisions that will affect the future of their Nation; Communications
will certainly prove to be a critical element of their success.
Since 2001, TCG has worked with First Nations, government
agencies, public institutions and Crown Corporations to develop Communications
Strategies, Build Consensus, manage Communications Crisis and most importantly,
promote a free flow of information and facilitate dialogue and networking
within each community and organization.
TCG reaches far beyond simply transferring information but
has proven success in bridging communication gaps by considering the past,
assessing the present and preparing for the future.
The proven success comes from applying knowledge, experience
and the commitment to find solutions tailored to our clients' needs.
